“Hate to Bitch”

Sorry to bitch during this yuletide season,

     But today was a hell of a day,

Firstly, trying to keep my awning attached,

To the camper, with the wind,

I tried to reattach it to its wintertime spot,

Well, it wouldn’t go up, so,

I gave it a little push, and it separated,

From the wall of the motor home, isn’t that just great?

Now, if it weren’t for duct tape, I would have,

A gaping hole for rain and snow,
To join ole' Rufuz & I, inside...   

Okay, okay, I know, I still have a place to live, but…

Then, to add insult to injury, I dropped my cell phone,

Okay, it’s happened before, but not into a deep puddle,

Geez, what made me today become such a fuddle?

Hey it still works, but with no screen,

Oh well, the better half is debating on a new system anyhow.

Oh yes, and more to bitch about, as today was payday &…

I didn’t receive my paycheck, must have gone out late with the holiday,

But that still doesn’t help me today, damn, damn, damn!

So, it’s been a day of the grumpy’s for me,

Not that I didn’t have any before, but this was especially a

pain in the posterior,

Eventually, I just got a buzz & went to bed, to under my covers, hide.

Well, I guess, for now my time, I must bide,

Till I can find the money to fix this cockeyed old wreck,

May it not rain or snow, in any appreciable amounts,

Till the hole has been sufficiently re-decked?
