“Diarrhea of the Writers     Gland”

I have said before,

That some times my writing ability hits a dry spell,

Better at that time to take up knitting,

And some days I feel like a gushing geyser of poetry,

As it was today, I found I had diarrhea of the writers gland,

My lil’ writers elf, that has helped me in the past,

Kept me going all day, while working, and driving fast.

Stopping today, I cannot, from jotting,

But then again, why would I want to stop?

All this writing relieves stress,

And, oh how well we all need this, I can only guess…
