Long Day

Short one, just about my "wonderful" lousy weathered long drive today at work...

"LONG DAY"

Did 350 some odd miles today,
In snow, then rain, then snow, again,
Guess I have to, in someway,
          Earn my pay...

What with the weather,
The traffic, what there was,
Moved at a snails pace,
Making me late,
And making me contort my face.

But I withheld my verbal abuse,
Of those other drivers that,
Deserved all that I accused,
Sometimes its easier just to take a
deep breath...

OH MY GOODNESS, WAS I SUPPOSED TO
           LET THAT BREATH GO?
