Propane

Seems the cold is affecting my brain, especially if my brain cells are in my feet...they seem to be especially cold today...

            “PROPANE”

Costs too much to sustain,

But without, feels in this camper,

Like wintering in far northern Maine.

Can’t believe winter has yet to start,

Hell, even freezing are my farts,

They kinda just hang in the air,

          And while I stare,

Turn into popcicles of frozen despair.

What to do today in the cold?

Take a drive in the snow, be bold?

Or stay at home and clean my household?

Think the drive sounds to be the best,

At least heat will warm my feet,

And that is no jest…

But to drive, I must first walk on the snow,

Not something I do with a glow,

For when I do, my body seems to say,

Stay the hell inside,

As it is warmer there and that it can abide…
