“GETTING’ DARKER”

It’s getting darker in our part of the world now,

Time for the creatures of the night to come out and howl,

Rufuz feels their presence, his ears go up & he listens,

He wants to be out there with them tonight,

But knows he has to stay home to protect daddy in his fright.

When we walk on the edge of the woods,

Rufuz can sense things that dad cannot,

It actually scares daddy when he sees Rufuz focused,

On the dark of the woods.

He seems ready to pounce,

On anything that out of the woods is to bounce,

I am so glad I got him to protect me,

As, if not, I might never go out without first smoking an ounce.

And that could get to be very expensive…
