Damn Technology!

I am lost without some things in my life, but why do they have to be the technological things? LOL!

DAMN TECHNOLOGY!

My cell phone died today,
Why don't I just give the damn thing away?
Had everyones phone number in it,
Now I have to call from memory, sure as shit!
With my memory the way it is of late,
I would be better off driving by the callee's house,
For it will take a long time for me to recall,
The numbers unless I wrote them on the wall!

Computers been acting up too,
What can I do?
Maybe throw it in the trash,
Would give me pleasure,
But my pocket cannot afford the outlay of more cash,
Oh well, just leave it go till it totally dies,
Or I throw, at it, a bunch of pies.

The Jeep, fortunately is still working well,
Good enough to make a killing if I were to sell,
But selling it is not an option,
As if I did, what would I use for transportation?

The motor home engine works when it wants too,
The generator works better than the engine so far,
Isn't that bizarre?

Well, for now I got my shit off,
Hope you don't mind the language?
As I felt the need after the death, so to speak,
Of my cell phone & now I have to sneak,
Phone calls on my company phone,
If I can just work out the time for off- peak.

Geez how I hate technology,
But without, I guess, I would be up the creek...

That's right Ed...technology can be the pits, that's why I advocate relocating to a deserted island somewhere in the South Pacific....that would be great. Wonderful write on the vent.

Awwwww, poor Ed. Now that my book has taken off, maybe I'll double up on my monthly $12 contribution to Save the Children and send half of it to you.

Love and huggy bears, Scott
