Under humor, as I can think of no other category. (Remister for guys, REMISS for gals)

“REMISTER”

(Remister for us guys,

Remiss for you girls.)

I seem to have been bitten by the tsetse fly,

Slept for twelve hours or more this past night,

But now, instead of feeling “under the weather”,

I feel whole, human and totally right.

I have missed several poems, by friends,

But can now review them without feeling the bends,

I have been so remiss (remister) in my duties,

I feel sorry that sometimes I can’t keep up with the trends.

“Under the weather”, NOT!

I feel much better than I previously thought,

Some sleep I caught,

Which makes me feel ready to face the world again,

With renewed interest, that from sleep can only be brought.

So it is time to catch up on my reads,

Of those poets I have decided are my deeds,

To keep track of, as this fulfills my needs,

To offer to all, Godspeed!
