Poor Barney the Dog,

                    Upstaged by Saddam…

Another atrocity to count against Saddam,

Poor Barney, the Presidents dog,

Now his video will never become,

The story it was meant, to some,

But in “dogdom,”

He will forever have his paws,

In cement on the Dog Walk of Fame…

Like so many over the years,

This dog has lost his career,

Upstaged by an upstart,

Of questionable smarts,

Living in a room the size of a coffin,

Now he will, I can only assume,

Be hung and buried in a tomb.

Not apparently the boogeyman we all supposed,

He did not have his minions,

To hide him from being exposed,

So now, another chapter of Iraqi history is permanently closed.
