ART…

I lean towards Sears, Kmart or Wal-Mart art,

No Van Gogh’s or anything expensive right from the start,

I enjoy ocean and shore scenes,

They are closest to my heart,

Rene’ feels the same way as she is my counterpart.

I’ve never been very artistic,

Well at least not with painting,

But I can paint a mean wall, at least in part,

Only do well with the base paint,

As someone else has to do the top coat,

Someone with more, I assume, smarts.

When we are together, I and my sweetheart,

She is the artsy one, I the old fart,

I can’t be attracted to most pictured art,

But some, like that of some artists of the rock music vein,

I can peruse, or otherwise to, be drawn.

As you can see, art is not something I know well,

But whatever and what the hell,

I know something about the subject,

As neither of us are in anyway,
