Funny is as Funny Does…

So what is funny?

Cartoons on TV are to me, the best,

As well as the laughs I get from my honey,

And laughter promotes a certain feeling of zest, at best.

When I want from my readers a roaring haha,

I just search out in my memory,

Any incident of personal tragedy or experience,

And clean it up into a joke, of sorts.

It brings me to grips,

With what may have been a negative,

But now, what with humor, I find,

I am most inclined,

To forget the fact that I was blind.

To see that the negative,

Is now a positive,

And, oh my, do I then feel refined.

So, I here, as the undersigned,

Do hereby look forward to,

Offering you some humor,

That may, in itself, spell bind,

Or at the very least help you to,

At the end of your day,
