First time in a year of work I volunteered to work on a sunday night, and the scheduled pick up is not till the next night, LOL

Easiest Two Hours . Work I Ever Had…

Drove up to Philly,

To pick up a delivery,

But it really was quite silly,

As they told me to go one night too early.

Two hours on the clock,

Eighty-two miles on the truck,

But what the f***,

It ain’t my van,

And I won’t have to do it again.

Was a quick break from writing,

But really would have been happier to avoid it,

But I took on the responsibility,

So had to cover it,

Especially enjoyed the way,

That the run turned out.

Like I really enjoy driving into Philadelphia,

Late in the evening,

Would rather be in bed, or high,

So I guess you know what I will be doing,

So don’t be giving me a sigh,

As when I am buzzing I am thinking of you,

My friends & fellow writers on authors den,

Isn’t that of me, just right on cue?

The Wholly Book of Genesis by Jay Dubya

The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
