Damn Acid Reflux...

Gotta laugh at this, as if I cry I will never stop...

Damn Acid Reflux…

Early in the morning,

Almost 5am & here I sit,

For fear of going back to bed,

Getting sick once a night,

Is more than enough for ED.

I know what did it, well maybe,

Could have been the popcorn,

         Or candy or cake,

So I can’t blame anything else,

This was totally my mistake.

I just remembered I also had one half a beer,

And with my low tolerance,

As I don’t drink anymore,

Maybe, that is the reason for my reaction, so severe.

But I am sure it will come on again,

Maybe not tonight, or this morning, as it may be,

But the next time I get high,

And with the munchies, over-eat my fill,

As always, I will…

Daniel is trying to be funny, but this is not a laughing matter. I have had it myself for years. I have found that if I do not eat at night, I don't have it at all. I never eat anything after six o'clock as a general rule. If I eat later, I stay up later.

Damn acid reflux is brought on by old age--I have to watch what I eat before I go to bed too.
