Age related & related to the fun of it all...hopefully it is fun...LOL

Not So Much Mature, as Old…

Feeling today as old as the proverbial hill,

Even though the weather outside is warm & still,

Temps in the 60’s today, should make me happy & filled,

But seem to still have this old feeling today,

That is enough regarding same, to say,

But only just for now, as I am sure to say there will be more.

Maturity comes with age it is said,

Personally I find that with age comes the desire for more bed,

More sleep, if you will,

Kinda like that of the dead,

Actually though I think I kind of dread,

That of becoming more mature,

Thereby getting older,

Hair falling out,

Or getting grayer,

Teeth going the way of the dinosaurs,

Just for all intents and purposes, feeling more sour.

But from what I have seen of some,

I hope I age like them,

They are old and still have the ability to “come”,

Also can still get things to “go”,

And I would be happy for either at this time in my life…
