Who to Blame...

Who to blame for all the boring swill that I seem to come up with...

WHO TO BLAME…

If you are one of those that find the need,

To blame someone for the mere fact that I am here on AD,

Be advised, that you need to blame that guy named Scott,

He is the culprit that started me to write,

And during that writing I found within the true self,

And am not sure that that is the best thing for me to have done,

For while finding the self,

I also discovered that special lil’ writers elf.

That elf makes me write thru all hours of the night & day,

He never gives me a break to even say,

How much I may or may not enjoy what I dare do with here, play,

So it’s on and on I go on paper and with type, I lay,

All my innermost thoughts, aspirations & general molding of clay.

So you, dear reader, have more than one to blame,

First there was Scott, an author extra-ordinaire, that started me to bore,

Then came that lil’ writers elf who set upon me with the chore,

Too keep up with all these feelings,

By putting them down on paper, as I became a writing whore,

I just want a day to clean this wreck I live in, but no more,

I am told I must write, and write and write, or find myself poem poor,

I guess Scott could be called, in the vernacular, my mentor,

And the elf, well, he is the one called, I suppose, raptor,

As if I do not do as he states, I get rapped on the noggin, so much more.

No I am not here to quarrel,

As if I do, I find myself, supposedly, immoral,

I just want to say, above and beyond,

That writing is something that I am so very happy to do,

Possibly because at one time I was blond,

And am, now, mostly found to be fond,

With the ability to correspond,

With all my readers out there in AD land,

                 AND BEYOND!

Thanks, Ed, I think. I've been blamed for a whole worse. Keep your pen handy.
