TO “RE” OR NOT TO “RE”…

Yes, I know, a take off on a Shakespearean term,

No thought by me to believe I am even a small part,

Of a great poet like old William, just here making a start,

I have thought, of late,

If this is not too much to ask,

Does anyone feel like me, regards reiterating past works…?

I mean to say, not to drag this subject out to infinity or like that,

That things we say in the past,

Should maybe stay where they were said, unto the last,

I also know, that to re-write something is to maybe improve upon it,

If in fact that is possible,

Hopefully though, this is not done too fast,

As in to soon after the initial write had been cast.

Well, just openly rambling here,

To try to get an answer from a more reliable source,

As we all know where my brain is of late?

For that matter, where it resides for most of time infinitum,

In the bowels of vowels and nouns and verbs,

My brain seems to be just a conjecture of adjectives and, oh of course, certain, HERBS!

So let me know your answer as to the above,

Or not if maybe you feel this subject is hereof,

Something to just for now put off or aside, shove…
