Rhonda Whonda the Wonder Honda…

Many moons ago, stolen was my car,

A cute little Honda that the thief did not take far,

She had a bad clutch,

And was missing 2^nd gear,

The poor, poor thief could not drive it, oh dear!

But what was really the stupid part,

The idiot brought it right back,

To my driveway, as he was still so near.

Thought, away with it he could get,

But just at that moment I was getting set,

To make my statement to the police,

And here he comes driving up the alley,

And yelled at me she did, my niece,

To say here comes Rhonda.

So the thief was caught,

My little Honda returned,

But still I had to have it towed,

For the police needed it for evidence.

So for that little tow,

Even though,

The police requested it,

I found that the tow truck I owed…

Fifty stinking bucks!

I would have been better off,

If the thief would have dumped her in the river,

For the insurance would have paid,

And I wouldn’t have had to had any outlay…   (ed)
