Death of the Triad...

Not often do I write stories of fantasy & like that, but tonight...

Death of the Triad…

With fists of power, ironclad,

The Knights of the Triad,

Were forced to relinquish,

The power they had,

Over the population of the Olympiad.

From whence did this stranger come?

An upstart, that had none,

He just walked into our Hubble,

And from then on, became our savior,

To vanquish the Knights of the Triad.

The Triad, it had ruled for a thousand generations,

Their means of punishment was that of castration,

For if there were no men able to have children,

There would be no one to challenge the further installation,

             Of future Triad nations.

But the punishment, though harsh, brought about a different gestation,

The populace would first go into hibernation,

Then at the end, they would come forth with a mutation,

Not necessarily a child, then again, more than thought they could have,

But enough of these “children” came forth that the Triad had to fight back,

Sending all to the mining region to suffer and die under ground.

While we still felt and suffered from this latest indignation,

Our savior, an emasculated malformation, which could just pass as a human,

It came unto our lives, and was able to gestate,

                 At a most alarming rate,

But in doing so, brought forth an army of mutants that brought down,

The Knights of the Triad, only by using their individual powers.

Some could start fires by sight,

Some could kill without touch,

Some could bring on a fearful dreamless night,

Enough of these creatures came from our savior,

That the Triad had to renounce its hold,

And forever be banished from our world of light,

Without so much as a bloody fight,

Scared into submission, they took flight,

All quite insane from a life of dreamless night…

Quite a fantasy--from whence doth it come? Underlying meanings may have depth for someone. . . b
