Everytime I go to add a poem, a similar one has already been added, are they hacking me?

“WAVE LENGTH”

Hey, Kate, Karla, Ed, Allen,

Did I forget anyone? I’m sure,

Are we on the same wavelength?

I sometimes wonder,

When poems they get posted,

That are similar in length,

But not in width or breadth,

And yours always seem to have,

Much more strength,

Than that of my little ditties,

At that time only half-length.

I wonder if I should finish,

That which I think is too much similar,

Or just to my work so far,

Take a Rototiller or use it as filler in future writes.

No, I say, I put them aside,

Saving them for future reference,

Till one day I find myself entrenched,

At a loss for words, hard to believe, huh?

I jump back to my saved workbench,

And after dusting off the stench,

Of it sitting on my bench for so long,

I may get a new idea, but then,

When post it, I go to do,

One of you already have something new.

Again something that I have to rewrite,

Going through all the above all over again,

Man what a pain, are they looking at me on a camera?

Have they got me bugged like the government?

Can they see into my computer?

Oh my god, I’ve been HACKED!

Well, so much for living in this shack,

Will have to move,

Far enough away, maybe to the Louve?

Or have my little shack, swept, electronically…

Oh what the hell, I just got to admit,

My ideas, they are getting more like shit… J

I was given a book recent from a friend that talks about how there is only truly, I believe it is seven, true plots for poems or stories. Authors just come up with different ideas of how to express those ideas. What you have expressed in your poem I have wondered too at different times :-) Many of the poems I have written have never been seen, because I came across a poem that sounded the same as something just posted by another author.

In spiritual terms I was taught that all creative ideas are in, lets call it a pool, and each person that is creative reaches into this pool for ideas. This is why I can say I created a design when I was a child, that appeared on wallpaper a few years later and someone made millions from it. There is no possible way they saw my design and yet it was the same one. I didn't use the idea in the pool so it floated around until somebody did.

Anyhow that is my short version of how it possible for us to connect to the internet and see what we thought was an orginal idea, already in use. :-)
