Diet Soda...

Who drinks this stuff, it tastes lousy...

         Diet Soda…

Let me first say, yeeeccchhh!

Not sure I can improve upon,

Or rhyme with that,

What a disgusting flavor,

No wonder it sat,

In my fridge for over a month,

Just waiting till I had nothing else to drink,

If I knew it was so junky,

I would have forced myself out to the store.

At the moment I may even break down and make,

Myself drive over to the store at this early hour of 1am,

Thankfully they stay open all night,

Must be for those of us, that take a sip of diet soda,

And know we can’t be drinking that shit!

Cannot imagine developing a taste for this stuff,

Hell, I would rather go thirsty,

Than see myself drinking it ever again,

Even the sink drain did burp back when I poured it there…

Me wonders why you bought it, Ed? My wife loves the stuff; but like you, I can't even drink one sip. Beer and coffee for me.
