Why, fruit loops?

in a time of stress,

in a land of the oppressed,

in a world of the undressed…

came along a person name of ed,

ed was an EMT, an ambulance person,

liked by his patients & fellows as well,

but ed was such a boring name,

so his patients, all cerebral palsy ones,

found for ed a better name,

or so they claimed…

they started to call him fruit loops,

probably cause he was already kind of fruity,

and he always did eat fruit loops as a snack,

never did he ever go back,

to normal meals, as the “loops” never caused him to lack.

so ed had a new name,

and not so lame as others did claim,

cause he enjoyed this name,

as it did give him fame,

at least in his small plain of existence.

so, enjoy, if you will, his nickname of fame,

He has not heard it since that “game” did end,

he misses his ambulance days, to some degree,

but misses more the friends he made & for that you need not a brain…
