To My Readers, Oh so Bold...

Thanks for reading this boring writer, or is it this writer that is boring the self?

To MY READERS, OH SO BOLD…

I may bitch & moan for that of living,

in an rv home,

but when it comes to the need,

to be fully self-contained,

I certainly cannot in any way, complain.

this evening, at about 10pm,

our electric did go off again,

this happens quite regularly,

as we live off two main roads

that apparently have accidents,

that take down wires,

gee, I wish these cars would get better tires.

without the power on, I have no computer,

but my tv and on-board heater still does work,

my electric outlets do not, however,

but as a fully self-contained rig,

all I have to do is turn on the generator,

so I am warm and toasty, can you dig?

OH, as for the title,

I find, if it has something to do with the reader,

more hits I get on this poem in the end.

but let me also say, I really appreciate that of my readers,

for being so bold to put up with my constant complaints,

regarding the cold this wintertime,

you are all my friends, even though we know not each other,

personally or to speak to directly, I wish that we could,

but unless I start a cross-country trip,

I will never meet any of you, so get a grip…

Complain? You? Nah . . . People choose to settle or grow up in a particular region, so one has to take the good with the bad. It is what you make of it. You express what most would not dare to tread upon--without you, how would we know about such things? Take care, Ed. P.S. Hi Woofie . . . b

I wrote an article for a magazine once, about what happened the
night the electricity went off. If I can find it (I'm not the
most organized of authors..ha ha), I will post it at the Den.
Meantime...Ed...I am one of those you definitely DO NOT bore!

LOL! Yes OK - You caught me LOL!
Uh Huh, I can 'dig it', especially because I know this problem first hand. Even with a home on a SOLID foundation, if there's a bad accident, we lose our power and lucky you - you've a back up... my back up is a box of candles!

PS - You'd need a boat!

The Wholly Book of Genesis by Jay Dubya

The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
