Growling Tummy...

Hungry tonight I am, too late to eat too much, don't want to be sick again...

growling tummy…

no, not Rufuz growling at me tonight,

seems I need to make my stomach right,

have not eaten since this afternoon,

other than a candy bar and coffee,

to help me stay awake in the light.

maybe some popcorn, but I so love to write here,

I forget about my tummy and so I fear,

I may most likely end up in bed with it empty,

or real close or just about near.

a steak that has been wonderfully seared,

would really be something I could wrap my intestines around,

but to be honest without one in the freezer, I am not bound,

to be eating any steak and will just have to put up with the sound,

of my tummy all growling and unhappy, FEED me, feed me, even ground…

Do you mean ground beef. My Tom would of eaten at McDonald's every night if I would of left him. Now that he has passed on to his eternal maybe I should of taken him more often. It is just across the way from us. I still go there and feel guilty for not taking him and making him eat turnips and beef and potatoes, which he said "My mother never made me eat this." But he ate it and said it was good. He was a man who loved to eat too, and steak would of been good if we could of afforded it more. As it was we ate it on Father's Day or a holiday only. More power to you still alive to eat these good foods.
