Time to Think, Time to Ponder, Time to Play with Time...

Just a general rant on my lack of time to, or maybe my abundance of time to, or something else, who knows...?

TIME TO THINK…

       TIME TO PONDER…

              TIME TO PLAY WITH TIME…

MAYBE IN REALITY, I HAVE VERY LITTLE TO DO,

WEEKENDS BEING THE MAIN TIME, WHAT ELSE IS NEW?

MY TIME IT SEEMS TO BE EMPTY,

NOTHING BUT POETRY TO MAKE ME FEEL,

LIKE SOMETHING I HAVE DONE TO MAKE ME WHOLE,

THAT SOMETHING COULD EVEN BE TO DIG A HOLE.

Rufuz seems to know what to do with his free time,

to lay on the dash and sleep and be content,

me, I have to feel that I have something to do,

even if, in fact, it is to go out to play with my tent.

here I go again, breaking down words,

using them or part to rhyme with others,

but again with the time I got to do,

I got no worries or time constraints,

as I usually do when working during the week.

I don’t seem to be making these short writes rhyme,

maybe cause again there is no reason, as I got the tyme,

oops, I did it there and misspelled it just to not only,

make it rhyme, but to give it a look of misspent time…

time is fleeting so they say,

or is it fleeing from those that use it,

it would not flee from me, as I don’t have use,

for it during the weekends,

unless I was to be called into work today,

something that never usually happens, but I best not this say,

as for a change, in the middle of my nap,

I will get a phone call, requesting me to make some time for work,

oh what a total sap,

to allow myself to work on a day, when I am so sapped of strength,

from working 60 hour work weeks…time to go back to bed,

sleep seemingly to be the only good expenditure of my time…

Sleep can be good for the soul. So can writing, Ed.

But if you are truly bored, volunteer a few hours at an animal shelter on the weekends. All of them need caring souls to help them out. The animals there - and Rufuz - will consider you the greatest hero around.

Time is an illusion :-) guided by our emotions. One day seems short while another day seems long......and yet each day has the same 24hrs.
