Spring cleaning...

(tired of looking at this dump)

dishes are done,

the worst of my problems,

are with the dishes in the sink,

I hate to otherwise think,

of doing the dishes,

only sat for the week, but, 

that job really stinks.

next comes the surface vacuum,

then the deep down cleaning,

and then in the end,

the general preening.

but in the end, I will have myself,

a place to sit, lay or get laid,

not that it will last too long,

for more junk will find its way,

into my nice clean home,

but if I were to go out an roam,

across the country or even the state,

the old wreck will stay at its best,

oh sure, I know you don’t believe that,

because quite surely you have to believe,

                        I jest…
