Sailing the Ocean, So Blue...

Rufuz got us through the storm...

SAILING THE OCEAN, SO BLUE…

(continuing adventures of Rufuz & ed)

Cleared of the storm, took on no water,

Rufuz faired well under the pressure,

me? I slept through, that’s for sure…

my first mate got his license returned,

revoked when he made an illegal u-turn,

baked him a special cake, but the cook, he did burn,

never said I was a chef, but I have yearned…

our speed is not fast, only a few knots over five,

I can more easily cast, and catch more fish live,

Rufuz is not a fish eater, not having much feline blood,

but he is not prejudiced either, trying the fish, oh yuck…

I promise him, when we get to the other side,

a meal befitting a prince he will have for his valiant efforts,

at fighting off the storm, while his dad, er, uh, captain slept,

his dad, the captain is such a schlep…

so its more northeasterly we go, heading for the land of the kilt,

yes we go there first, so his dad, the captain can do a little lilt,

but let us hope that in so doing, he doesn’t upset the locals,

and find himself, not to say they are violent, killed…

So our longitude and latitude all plotted,

we aim the rig a little more northeasterly,

hoping when we get there to meet nessie…

Rough night, huh? Continue forth as there is a lot of "blue" to yet be seen. Hang in there, First Mate--you're one in a million. b

Sushi is delightful yum! Nothing better then raw fish tickling your throat as it slims itself to the belly. hehehehe

Glad to hear you made it through the night, Ed. First Mates are indispensable at sea.

Glad to hear you're gonna visit Nessie, too. I met her once - years ago - she's sweet. But one word of warning; don't let her catch on that you don't like cats. She gets pretty hussy about that.
