online…

online life can be frustrating,

we can all here agree & sing,

life can be a bitch too,

but this online life, is hard,

as inflections in voice cannot be heard,

so a joke maybe funny to the writer,

but can be hurtful to the person written too...

the written word or typed as is seen herein,

is capable of transporting the reader,

through light years of distance & time,

we all know as writers that this is so sublime,

we continually write so as the reader can see,

how truly far it is possible to take you and me…

but some words still hurt,

even though they were only meant to flirt,

words have different meanings,

when the voice goes unheard,

so what to do with regards this pickle,

we can remain as we are,

and let the reader assume we are just fickle,

or we can explain, to a small degree,

what we mean when we say it.

it doesn’t take a degree,

just to say we are just kidding, j/k,

or the old laughing out loud, LOL,

all mean the same, when taken in the right context…

so do what you can,

allow the reader some leeway,

and on your end do the same,

as most are not out there to hurt,

so let them know, give them that alert,

they will then find, just how much of an expert,

on words you are, just have to exert,

a little understanding & be an extrovert…
