Congrats Karla, number 700…
But dad and I can catch up,
we have shown this already,
all dad has to do is look at a word,
and me, I have to just put my nose to the ground,
from there I can most definitely find smells & sounds,
both of which make me want to write,
poems of nature, poems of animals, poems of political right…
oh that’s right, that is dads place to write,
but I can still do others, dogs and cats and parakeets too,
we all have the ability, we all have the desire, to write like you,
just give my daddy a word, any word, and he will make for you,
another poem, one that will make you sit up and give your paw,
something that I do, if only you could have saw…
so my English is not so good,
my daddy can make it right, just you wait and see,
for if its English you want, then open your eyes,
my dad is the best, even better than uncle Scotty, hee-hee!
see already we are catching up, another one here, so fast,
so Auntie Karla, just be careful, you may not see us go past,
but I really am happy for you, even though you were in my doghouse, so cruel…
(Rufuz & ed)
You are too sweet, dedicating a poem to my twin, Karla! This touched me, too, not just her! What a kind, loving gesture on both your parts; bless your pea-pickin' little New Jersey hearts!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your Tx. friend, Karen Lynn. :D
Wonderful dedication! This is going into my library!
::smiling:: of this, i have no doubt
pretty soon, i'll hear you both shout
see, we've left karla in the dust
we will write that many, or bust!
does this make #701?? LOL
thank you for your hearty congratulations, i appreciate your encouragement and support (and even rufuz' cusses) LOL
(((HUGS))) and love, karla.
enjoyed this one--saving it :)
