Too Tired for More, Sorry...

About to sleep, or is it schlep, not sure, I am too tired to think str8...

Too Tired for more, sorry…

Off to bed I got to go,

For tired I am very, so,

I took my shower,

Shaved my face,

Trimmed my beard,

And cut my nose hair…

(Betcha didn’t need to know that last one, did ya?)

Anyway too tired to go on,

My brain it is far-gone,

Towards the sleep time it needs,

To make its ability to plant seeds,

In the mind of those that find they bleed,

Out more poems and stories than I can ever read…

So good night, good night, sweet prince’s and princess’s,

You are all good friends and able to take a joke,

And for that I thank you and hope you will find a way,

To put up with this writer, ED, another day…

Ah, sleep, the proverbial mode of relaxation. Hope you rested well, my friend, as I know how precious those few winks can be. b
