Munchies No More...

Anybody old out there want to help this "getting older" person...?

Munchies No More…

When I was younger I could eat a whole pizza in one sitting,

But now that I reached, or almost, the golden age of fifty,

My hunger does not seem to be as intense,

Is this just age or am I just getting to have some sense?

With older age, all sorts of things happen to the human condition,

Mostly from sitting on the couch and watching the television,

But what can we do, it is the way of life, but my question,

Is, am I wrong or am I right?

Is it age related, or is it a condition of my body alone,

No one else suffers from this malady, or we all do so,

Used to eat all my chicken and turkey right down to the bone,

Now can only eat a few bites, not in the mood,

Or I am just not right?

Can someone out there that has passed this time in life,

Maybe that old guy ED K or his mistress, Kate C, can explain the skinny,

Or sometime really soon, I will find myself exactly that word again,

                             SKINNY!

                                                          (ed)

Here's the skinny, friend. Whether you like it or not, as you age, you will: eat less, sleep less, have sex less, have less energy, and forget everything you need to remember, and remember everything you want to forget.

Ain't aging fun!!

Ed;

Often it is related to a lessened consumption of the MJ weed.

For me its not my aging that changes how much I eat, but the season. The hotter it is the less I eat. Also I noticed location can be part of it too. While living in the mountains I ate more then ever before in my life. Mountain air will do that to you. In Ontario I loose my taste for food. Of course its harder to get fresh fish here. No, I won't eat the glow in the dark fish from the lakes.
