“BUSH” BURNING…

So many protest our president,

For this or that, that or this,

Good things, bad things,

Things that make no sense,

Things they seem to find, reprehense (able)…

But with regards that protesting,

No one, as of yet, it seems, or as far as I am aware,

Has come to the knowledge that as much as they dislike,

Our president we have at this moment in time,

They have yet to burn a Bush in effigy…

I would have thought of this right from the start,

But apparently, smart as some of these folks, aren’t,

They have not figured this to be a just way to flaunt,

Their cause to the world press or the president…

Well, maybe they have, as I don’t watch too much TV,

Hell, what TV, I got no cable and my antenna is only good,

To hang laundry to dry on, if I could get to it more easily,

Up on the roof of the motor home it is, not a place I often go…

So here, I sit, wondering if this was done,

Not so much that anyone would want Mr. Bush burned,

But only in effigy they would burn their bush,

Hopefully they pick a garden variety one…

As I would hate to think,

While protesting for pot to be legalized,

They would burn a bush of the herb in effigy,

Dear god no, if they were, they would all be high,

So forget the protest, lets go get something to eat…
