On a Floppy Disc...

Maybe under humor, but want to cry, I lost so many poems, that were on the old floppy...wonder if I can just copy them from the Den and re-put them on another floppy or CD...?

On A Floppy Disc…

Have thirty odd poems on a disc,

That won’t show any of them,

This morning it worked,

Like did my computer the other day,

Prior to it dying, in another way…

Is this my computer, dying all the way?

Or is it just me, and my mater that’s gray?

Not understanding what is for some so easy,

Or is it that we bought me a computer that is, at the most cheesy?

Thought this unit was just right, now I am getting uptight,

For computers from the company HP are supposed to be alright,

Or so I thought when I bought it, I was just so bright…

A new computer, is going to cost a bundle,

But what choice do I have short of taking the loss?

Or living with this beast till it goes altogether,

If it ever does, what choice is there, really?

But what about the poems I had on that disc?

Can they be moved to that of a CD, & if so, how?

I know my computer has a writer as part of it,

But never figured out how to use it, maybe now is the time,

I hate learning new things, better to stick with the old,

That must be why I am so stuck on Rene, my age-old soul mate, so bold…

                          JJust kidding dear…! J
