Monday Morning…

Gotta go to work,

But not for awhile,

Have to travel many a mile,

Delivering that of many a tile,

But not for now, not for a short while…

Giving me the chance to write,

To get out what I feel,

Always makes my day so much better,

To write out what I feel,

It starts my day,

In a wonderful way,

Makes me feel quite real…

What will happen today?

Will I have a good one or bad one?

Isn’t that just up to us?

To enjoy the day, good or bad,

We choose to be happy or sad,

If we get out of bed & say,

This will be a good day,

Then it most certainly should be,

No matter what occurs,

No worries, not an unhappy thought,

This is what, for today, I sought…
