We have all dreamed of hitting the lottery, in some way or another, here is our dream, not much, but dreams are sometimes all we got...
Lottery Dreamin’…
New cars for all my friends,
Home for us at the shore,
Boat for us to play with, for sure,
Log home in the Pocono’s
Don’t forget the motor home, so big,
All friends’ kids would go to college,
Becoming doctors, lawyers & the like,
Not having to be waiting throughout life for the lottery,
Like me…

Hey...U never know!....Dreams do come true & can make things happen....But then on the flip side, one can have so many "instant new friends" as it were. There can be a whole lot of new problems along with that......But on the best side, there is nothing wrong with dreamin'....So dream away honey......
Nice thoughts, Ed. Presuming that I am one of those friends and would still be when you become a jet-setter, can I put in my order just in case? How about a Porsche 928? But I'll be just as happy being your friend, even if you don't ever win the lottery. Enjoyed your poem.
Weeeeeellll, Ed!
Life sometimes throws one a u-turn and I've had the enigma of being emmersed in both poverty and riches and boy(!) have I learned some things!!! I don't buy lottery tickets anymore. I do, however, live life more fully than I ever have and where I am at the moment - well I guess you could say that I'm learning that the abundant riches that are to be had, both materially and spiritually, have everything to do with my personal choices and the most exciting thing of all is that I am learning to trust my decisions (because the raw material with which I make them have cost me so much) more than ever before, and (by God's grace) are proving to be a sound investment!

Well we can dream can't we....I would only
like to win big once to help out my kids..
to leave something behind for them..but then
I suppose the love and memories left behind
might just be more valuable...and easier to
manage...sometimes money brings nothing but
trouble....floria
