This space is occupied
The sign read.
But I paid it no heed
And posted this poem instead.
Sometimes signs are a bore
Especially when at the store.
Sometimes they are misleading
Not the price shown, but more.
Too late, you are already home
Before you notice the price was wrong.
This has happend often and I complained.
I know one thing it's a store where I don't belong.
Lately I have seen shoppers
With their own lasser scanners.
That's one way to catch these crooks,
But a sad day for us trusting souls.
my items are scanned... but I think
of course more than this is revealed
in this poem...
