THE TAIL THAT CAN’T BE CAUGHT
Our dog chases his tail.
Round and round he goes.
What he would do if he caught it,
No one really knows.
He spins around in circles,
At an incredible clip.
But that tail stays just out of reach,
It always gives him the slip.
The hair on his back goes flying.
His head and tail are in a dad heat.
he spins around in circles,
trying hard to make ends meet.
Try as hard as he might,
His efforts are for naught.
Our dog doesn’t know he’s chasing,
The tail that can’t be caught.

Dobies are the faster dogs,,as they caught theirs ??? hehehe kj
But, your poem and Jerry have reminded me that I had better get busy chasing if I'm going to get any tail anytime soon.
