As we get Trumpled under foot.
WE’VE BEEN TRUMPED ON Donald Trump lies and lies, Doubles down and never retracts. But his lies are still lies, Not alternative facts. He manages to hit new lows, Day after day. And when he says he has proof, The truth gets in the way. He calls people names. He never accepts any blame. He’s our bully-in- chief, Who knows no shame. He never backs down, Diplomacy is for the weak to use. Donald Trump holds the nuclear codes, And he works with a short fuse. Drain the swamp…. Yeah….right. Great health care for all, Nowhere in sight. Tax cuts for the wealthy, So he can get his, and they can get theirs. As for the middle class, They haven’t a prayer. He’s promised jobs, That aren’t coming back. He tweets on Twitter, To ridicule and attack. He says white supremacists include some fine people, While they burn torches and wave Confederate flags. Yet he calls black players SOB’s for taking a knee, Playing the race card as he boasts and brags. Regulations rolled back, And abandoned deals. He doesn’t care about the environment, As our earth reels. He doesn’t know how to govern, Only how to please his base and divide. Not only is he a danger to our democracy, Donald Trump is a danger worldwide. Michael D. Schafer © October 30, 2017

Now Trump also means Dump, Frump, Hump, Jump, Lump, Mump, Pump, Sump, and Wump. He's given us new meanings for tired old words. Whatta waste.

You have nailed it with every line! The only reason I can think of why his diehard supporters have not seen through his blustery behavior what he really is, is that, perhaps, a large number of people in this country actually believe the twisted tenets that he holds true. There is a good bit of racism and feudalism in this country that supports cults with exclusive membership. Many folks are just dying to get into the "rich" club. All one has to do is watch Shark Tank, listen to some of the television evangelists, emotional/promotional speakers, see all the best-selling books on how to get rich or follow the lottery frenzy to understand.

He doesn't seem to worry that the earth he could destroy,
And his followers cannot be so stupid & coy, could they...? -e-
