The news anchors are puppets. They smile as they report deaths and frown over the weather. It's painful wathing any news on TV.

I think T.V. in general suck our brains dry, and that is why I don't watch it. Right now hubby and I are on a Christmas Movie binge, we are watching every old Xmas movie known to man, presently the Grinch. My fav. CNN is very Democratic/Socialist. Fox is very Republican. Then ABC, CBS and NBC are mostly Democratic/Liberal. Fox is the only news that slants to the Republican side besides CBN which reaches a Christian population.

I am Independent and I can see BS on both sides. For example, Fox is covering the Donna Brazille story in detail while the other stations will not touch it. Conversely, ABC covers the Russian Investigation as if they already convicted every one Republican while Fox has news about Democratic meddling with Russians with the uranium deal.


I long for the good old days of Walter Cronkite and Chet/Huntley Brinkley news reporting. Those days they stuck to the facts. These days news is a string of commentaries that slants the news in their party's favor. So it's much of the news is convoluted with he said/she said nonsense. And that's the way it is.....

I agree. Right wing nuts are buying up media outlets at a rapid rate and have been doing it for some time. Editorial censorship of things called news subverts the whole idea of fair news reporting. It all becomes one great big commercial for the rich and privileged.
