A Morning Blurb...
Glancing from my bedroom window
At the rain outside,
I noticed flickerings of movement on the ground.
At first I thought,
Damn another migraine,
I blinked my eyes and peered out again.
It wasn’t a migraine.
It looked like a flurry of leaves
Made to dance from the wind.
I watched a while longer
And realized it wasn’t leaves at all.
Raindrops were randomly striking
A puddle of water in the mud.
I was witnessing a light show of
Sparkly, glittery, explosions
Amongst the fallen yellow leaves.
Another priceless play of nature.
Beautiful, and eloquently displayed.
And I was there.
