My Mother In Me

My Poem of the day. I love you Mom!

 My Mother In Me

 
I'm so much like my mother
I guess she raised me right,
every year that passes
we're more and more alike.
Her morals and her values
so deeply instilled in me,
have paved my way
in life I truly do believe.
When I look into the mirror
she's always looking too,
heaven may be a million miles away
but I know she's peeking through.
No matter life's twist and turns
what will be will be,
I'm so proud that every day
I'm seeing my mother in me.

Reads like she was an excellent role model. When I was young I learned an old saw… When you are interested in a young lady, make sure you take a look at her mother before you do anything rash, for she will be just like her mother 20 years down the road.

My parents have been gone for over a decade now, and I can still hear their voices. they are a part of me, and who I am. A nice poem,
