The Bond Between Mother and Child
Spring is in the air it's Mother's
Day again,
roses are blooming, birds are singing
while butterflies dance in the wind.
The sun shines brighter than ever
this glorious time of year,
stars waltz around the moon
in honor of mothers everywhere.
The first one ever to kiss you
count your fingers and your toes,
showing you unconditional love
from her heart of purest gold.
Always there to listen and
offer her advise,
place a smile upon your face
and wipe the tears from your eyes.
No one here on earth will
love you like your mother,
her presence never fades she's a
beauty like none other.
Even when God calls her home
she's never far away,
the bond between mother and child
not even death can separate.

extremely insightful sentiment ...
bond...almost to difficult to put into words
but you poem, Kathy, does convey the true depth
of feelings...associated with Mother's Day..in
a most splendid way...touching my heart...
Thank you for sharing your poem.
