A simple message from my heart to yours.

 How Gracefully We Fall

How many times have you trusted someone only to be hurt and deceived,
opening your soul believing
wearing your heart on your sleeve.
Only to find you were wrong,
but free will made you hope for more,
leading you to roads not meant to be traveled,
a moment of weakness opened
the door.
The entrance to uncertainly the blindfolds
that cloud our sight,
there's wrong and in between
but truth awaits what's right.
We all must reap our repentance
cause in the end what matters most of all,
is not how we fail in this life
but how gracefully we fall.

Blimey, I'm right here, now.
I sure made the wrong choice even though it felt like the correct one.

Written with depth and the feeling of the human condition when we mess up.

Absolutely...but we all have differing interpretations of what's 'right'. The only thing that matters to us as individuals....is what is 'right' for us...
I've just come back from a place such as this....
Hugs,
Diana....

I was drawn to your poem because I liked its title. Your poem was equal to its title, I thought, the last four lines in particular.
