I'm not pining over a loss just celebrating my mother's memory tonight. This one's for you mom.
I had an amazing mom and I talk to her every day. Yep I am a believer.

 I'm Only Just Next Door

When I'm gone I hope you'll know
I'm only just next door,
I never really left you
beyond this world
there's something more.
Every day I'll see you
I hope you talk to me,
my ears still hear you dear
a mother's love never leaves.
She gives her heart and soul
while here upon this earth,
her love cannot be measured
infinity has no worth.
I'm only just next door
God keeps you close to me,
take a leap of faith
Heaven is for real to those
who believe!

A mother's love is endless
and never ever leaves!

I can see that your thoughts of your mother are very comforting and they will not leave you for as long as you live.

My mother is still alive, but now having a great deal of trouble communicating even though her mind is still sharp. She is 1200 miles away and I haven't seen her since 2011, but I write an email to her at least once a week that she can read. She has no phone in the assisted living facility she is in, so we can no longer talk by telephone. She has aphasia making it very difficult for her to speak to people and is almost deaf so she cannot hear with an ordinary telephone and needs a TTY.

You have a strong love and dedication toward your mother, and I really like that in you. Great poem, Kathy!! Your mother must be so pleased and so proud of you!!
