Fall is beautiful, her memories are a pallet painted in the heart and the mind of every soul.

 Mysteries Of Tomorrow

The morning star makes her exit
Illuminating the sky,
of ocean blue, an amazing view,
another day is nigh.

Soft breezes caress the fallen leaves
lifting them one last time,
in all their glory,
a seasonal story,
in this colorful life of mine.

Apples ripen on the trees
walnuts drift to the ground,
in my mind
are happier times,
as fall once more comes round.

Winter soon here, days will shorten,
but sure as the tides come and go,
my heart will give way
praising God for today,
as the mystery of tomorrow unfolds.

Kathy,

Fall is Gods decoration. He paints the beautiful leaves all different colors, there's a crispness in the air. Of all the seasons our Lord has made Fall is my favorite then Spring. I love this poem, Kathy.

Love and blessings,
~Linda

Ah, the joy of living in a four-season world. You describe autumn so lightheartedly. Love nature-seasonal-regional poetry the best.

Another gem. Your poetry has a nice "je ne sais quoi" that stands out. I could spot it a mile away. Nicely done.

Yep, the days com and they go, that's a natural fact. The mysteries of tomorrow? I imagine they will be a lot like the mysteries of today. Evolution takes time, but even so, mankind hasn't changed so very much since Cain killed Abel.
