Heaven Knows
Bruised and broken
Jesus carried the cross
bleeding suffering
so no soul be lost.
He suffered and died
unspeakable pain,
saving our souls
who'll live again.
He could have called ten
thousand angels
instead he died for you,
crying out to our Heavenly Father
forgive them they know not
what they do.
That's unconditional love
every heart strives to achieve,
given to us by our father above
to those who do believe.
The crucifixion represents
the key to eternal life,
the son of God king of kings
the ultimate sacrifice.
The promise of eternity
awaiting every soul,
today we walk by faith
tomorrow heavens knows.
