A Crown Of Thorns
A crown of thorns he bore
a perfect circle woven,
he knew his fate, told his disciples
I am the one
chosen.
Sacrificing his existence
to all who do believe,
he walked this earth just like you
yet left with the promise of eternity.
The circle that created the crown
will never be shattered nor broken,
every heart who dares to believe
words written not heard nor spoken.
A crown of thorns reminds us
no one walks alone,
crucified, Jesus suffered
and died
rose again to lead us home.
Home to eternity
