A Sinner's Prayer
Hello Jesus it's me your
long lost friend,
there's a message in my heart I've
been meaning to send.
Forgive me, I know it's been
so long, won't you
take me home to glory
back where I belong?
If I raise my hands toward heaven
and got down on my knees
to worship you, could
a sinner like myself be forgiven
could you change my life so
I can start
living it for you?
Let me thank you for the way
you died for me,
Lord I never realized
you were all I need,
I feel you your presence everywhere
precious Jesus won't you hear me while
I pray the sinner's prayer.
"Lord I'm a sinner I've lived my life
wrong,
I strayed so far from you
knowing all along.
You never left my side
when times I couldn't see,
you suffered and died to light
my way always believing in me.
I accept your sacrifice
from the depths of my heart and soul,
step into my life, from this moment
take control.
