Oceans Divine
Only sound to be heard was slapping of sails
sailing the surf round the San Juan Isles
Succulent smells drift off oysters that were baking
While anchored with crab pots we were staking
Sea food harbored within the straits
are as big as any fisherman's lie
Some of them near seven pounds
As we zig-zag under the darken sky
Interloping full moon in gapping clouds
angels of romance dance in the night
Fantasies become believable on open seas
while togetherness is silencing at twilight
Morning sun raises up on the horizon
on clear sparkling waters of green
The bottom can be seen at many depths
with life beneath mystical so serene
For a time you forget even where you are
as the world imprisons the mind
Refreshing the soul and clearing thoughts
real peace in the world one would find divine
