an angry earth at war - that suits some people, for peace has something feminine about it, to the trouble-makers of this world.
The mother of all wars and the father of strife, they go together
like Punch and Judy.

Love this delightful Haiku Chain, Kate; and it's extremely important message about our numerous sins against Mother Nature.

And the last one really hit home; but if Nature bites me while I'm out wandering in it; I probably won't mind going out that way; much better than some of the alternatives I can think of in our very violent world.
