The forest surrounds me with its crispness
I could just melt into this aromatic space
The leaves Morse code makes me listen
The tapping beats a hearts natural pace
Lulling me into sleep just relaxing my mind
Lie down becomes part of this world’s melody
My breath becomes part of its vibrating beat
Time has been lost just a green eternity exists
When will I drown in the air here? Forever
Will I be a particle for the next generation?
Lessons of creation seem hidden within
Perhaps I can break the code’s secrets
But soon I shall tend not to exist at all
Just blend in and become an ingredient
For the dirt which feeds the fields and forest
Then I shall yell out in the leaves Morse code
TJ you outdid yourself with this gem! The mystifying code of foliage and nature, is close to my heart, and I love the way you immersed yourself into this one. Superb poem and pic!
Startingly beautiful is the only way to describe how you captured the desire to be part of natures most magical world of real life.
No movie director can ever capture that reality only try to copy it, and yes the codes of our cave people ancestors are no doubt a part of where we walk today.
