Narrow inlet on the seacoast
Silent arm of the deep river
Dancing, flowing natural channel
Plentiful beat, land embraces you
Wistful waters sets the rhythms
Of earth’s veins as they move
Birds sing songs in praise of you
Bringing life force on the land
Plant embryos reach then touch
Tadpoles squirm inside with joy
Fish delight within their homes
All this peace around your pebbles
Words don’t express the ALL in you
But sit here I will watching your wonders
Living creatures are here in plenty
Like me giving thanks for you, Dear Creek
